Book Banter

One day I’m going to remember that I dont like MJD’s books and actually remember to fight the urge to read them. I have Sleeping with the Fishes for review and once again my main complaint is that all of MJD’s heroines sound alike and none of them are particularly personable. Curled up has MJD’s next Brava up for review as well and while at one point I was fighting the urge to request it (because I already have enough books I’ve agreed to review) now I’ll remember that I dont want to read it. Also, for those who don’t know the upcoming Brava book is a reprint of an old book.

anyway, at some point I need to write a review for Sleeping with the Fishes and needless to say I didn’t fully enjoy it. It wasn’t bad, but if it was supposed to be different from just Betsey meets Flounder, Sebastian and the gang, it was less than successful. The good news is that for those who loved it, its the first of a new series. So much so that there was barely an ending. Certainly not a satisfying ending. But whatever. One day I’ll remember.
